Egzersize katılımın olması her iki bölgedeki enduransının artmasını katkı sağlamaktadır.

The aim of this study is to examine the correlation level of the results of trunk and lower extremity endurance tests of healthy young individuals. Volunteer participants with no known health problems and over the age of 18 were included in the study. Trunk muscle endurance was evaluated with curl-up test, static back endurance test and horizontal side bridge test. Lower extremity muscle endurance was evaluated with repeated squat test, standing test on one lower extremity and forward jump test on one lower extremity. A total of 199 participants (48.2% female, 51.8% male) with a mean age of 21.90±2.01 years were included in the study. 49.2% of the participants reported that they exercised. Curl-up test, horizontal side bridge test and forward jump test results on one lower extremity were higher in the exercising participants (p<0.05). A weak to high level of positive correlation was found between trunk endurance and lower extremity endurance (p<0.05). Trunk and lower extremity endurance are positively correlated with each other. Participation in exercise contributes to the increase of endurance in both regions.
