KAHKAHA YOGASI VE HEMŞİRELİK

Öz

Kahkaha yogası, koşulsuz kahkaha ile nefes tekniklerini birleştiren non-invaziv ve farmakolojik olmayan bir terapi yöntemidir. Kahkaha yogası, bir lider eşliğinde yapılan, yaklaşık 40 dakika süren ve dört bölümden oluşan bir programdır. Bu bölümler; el çırpma ve ısınma egzersizleri, derin nefes egzersizleri, çocuksu oyunlar ve kahkaha egzersizleridir. Kahkahanın sağlık için olumlu fizyolojik, psikolojik ve sosyal etkileri olduğu belirtilmektedir. Fizyolojik olarak kanda oksijen saturasyonunda artma, beta endorfin düzeyinde artma; psikolojik olarak anksiyete, stres, depresyonu azaltma ve sosyal olarak iletişimi kolaylaştırma gibi etkilerinin olduğu belirtilmektedir. Kahkaha yogası; sağlık alanında diş hekimliği, onkoloji, kardiyoloji, immünoloji, psikiyatri ve hemşirelik gibi birçok disiplinde kullanılmaktadır. Hemşirelikte kahkaha yogası; genel sağlığı iyileştirmek, kan basıncını düşürmek, bakım verilen birey ile iletişimi güçlendirmek, ruhsal belirtileri azaltmak ve yaşam kalitesini yükseltmek için kullanılmaktadır. Bu derlemenin amacı kahkaha yogasının felsefesini, tarihçesini, uygulanmasını, sağlığa etkilerini, kullanım alanlarını ve hemşirelikte kullanımını incelemektir.
