DONATILI ZEMİNLER ÜZERİNDEKİ SÜREKLİ TEMELLERİN OTURMASINI ETKİLEYEN FAKTÖRLERİN ARAŞTIRILMASI

Öz

Yapılarda görülen oturmaların izin verilen değerlerin altında kalması için zemin içerisine yerleştirilen çeşitli donatılar kullanılmaya başlanmış olup, günümüzde de kullanımları hızlı artış göstermektedir. Bu tür uygulamalarda temel zemin içerisine çekmeye dayanıklı ve zemin ile arasında yeterli sürtünmeye sahip donatılar yerleştirilmesiyle, geleneksel yöntemlere oranla daha güvenilir ve ekonomik çözümler elde edilmektedir.Bu çalışmada, geogrid donatılı kum üzerine oturan model sürekli temellerde oturmayı etkileyen tasarım faktörleri deneysel olarak araştırılmıştır. Deneyler, Taguchi yöntemine göre 5 parametreli(temel genişliği, temel derinliği, donatı uzunluğu, donatılar arası uzaklık ve donatı sayısı) 4 seviyeli standart L16 ortogonal dizin tablosu seçilerek yapılmıştır. S/N ve varyans analizleri yapılarak oturmayı etkileyen faktörlerin etki dereceleri ve güvenilirlikleri belirlenmiştir.Çalışma sonucunda; sınır taşıma gücüne ulaşıldığı andaki oturma miktarı üzerinde en etkili parametrenin % 52 oranla temel genişliği, ikinci derecede etkili parametrenin ise % 30 oranla temelderinliği olduğu belirlenmiştir. Temel genişliği ve temel derinliği arttıkça, oturmanın arttığı belirlenmiştir.

Investigation of Factors Affecting the Settlement of Strip Foundation on Reinforced Soils

Abstract

In order to keep the settlement of the constructions in a safe value, variousreinforcements (geosynthetics) placed in the soil have been used. Their usages are increasing day byday. In this application, geosynthetics being durable to tensional forces and able to form friction withthe soil interface gives more practical, economic and fast solutions for the geotechnical improvementthan the classical methods.In this study, design factors affecting the bearing capacity of strip foundation on geogrid-reinforced sand were investigated experimentally. The experiments were made according toTaguchi’s 5 parameter, 4 level, and standard L16 orthogonal arrays. Signal-to-noise (S/N) and varianceanalysis are used to determine the levels of the factors affecting the bearing capacity. It wasdetermined that the most effective parameters on bearing capacity are foundation width (with 52 %influence ratio) and foundation depth (with 30 % influence ratio). While the foundation width anddepth increased, the bearing capacity increased also.
