Geyikli Gece’de Lacancı Arzu ve Modernite: Bilinçdışının Şiirsel İmgelerle Yeniden İnşası

Öz

Bu makalede, Turgut Uyar’ın Geyikli Gece adlı şiiri, bireyin bilinçdışı arzularını, narsistik bütünlük arayışını ve modern toplumla yaşadığı kültürel çatışmaları merkeze alan bir çözümlemeye tabi tutulmaktadır. Şiirdeki imgeler ve kavramlar üzerinden yapılan inceleme, öznenin eksiklik duygusuyla başa çıkma çabasını ve bu çabanın toplumsal bağlamda nasıl karşılık bulduğunu ortaya koymayı hedeflemektedir. Şiir, yalnızca bireysel bir yolculuğu değil, aynı zamanda modernitenin birey üzerindeki etkilerine karşı bir direnişi ve yeniden inşa sürecini de temsil etmektedir. Bu bağlamda, çalışmada, Lacan’ın “arzu” kavramı çerçevesinde, şiirde öznenin eksiklik duygusunun dil aracılığıyla anlam yaratmaya dönüştüğü ve bu dönüşümün bireysel varoluşu yeniden inşa etme sürecine nasıl katkı sunduğu incelenmektedir.
Çalışmada, şiirin çok katmanlı anlam dünyası çözümlenerek, bireysel arzu ve umutların dil ve imge gücüyle estetik bir forma dönüştüğünü ortaya çıkarılacaktır. Bu doğrultuda, bireyin iç dünyasında yaşadığı çatışmalar ve umuda yönelimi, modernitenin simgesel düzenine karşı geliştirilen estetik bir direnç olarak yorumlanmıştır. Geyikli Gece şiiri, bireysel ve toplumsal bağlamda özgün bir metin olarak modern şiir anlayışına katkı sunarken edebi eleştirinin psikanalitik boyutuna da yeni bir bakış açısı getirmektedir.

Lacanian Desire and Modernity in Geyikli Gece: The Reconstruction of the Unconscious Through Poetic Imagery

Öz

This article offers an analysis of Turgut Uyar’s poem Geyikli Gece, focusing on the individual’s unconscious desires, the pursuit of narcissistic wholeness, and the cultural conflicts experienced within modern society. Through an examination of the poem’s imagery and conceptual framework, the study aims to reveal the subject’s effort to cope with a sense of lack and how this effort resonates within a broader social context. The poem represents not only a personal journey but also a form of resistance against the impact of modernity on the individual and a process of reconstruction. In this context, the study investigates how, within the framework of Lacan’s concept of “desire,” the subject’s feeling of lack is transformed into meaning through language, and how this transformation contributes to the reconstruction of individual existence.
By analyzing the poem’s multilayered world of meaning, the study reveals how personal desires and hopes are transformed into an aesthetic form through the power of language and imagery. In this regard, the inner conflicts experienced by the individual and the turn toward hope are interpreted as an aesthetic resistance against the symbolic order of modernity. As a unique text in both individual and social contexts, Geyikli Gece contributes to the understanding of modern poetry and offers a new perspective to the psychoanalytic dimension of literary criticism.
