Davranışsal İktisatta Özgeciliğin Önemi: Bibliyometrik Analizi

Öz

Son yıllarda davranışsal iktisat alanında özgecilik kavramı önemli bir araştırma konusu haline gelmiştir. Bu çalışma, davranışsal iktisat çerçevesinde özgecilik üzerine yapılan araştırmaları bibliyometrik analiz yöntemiyle incelemektedir. Çalışamanın yöntemi olaral nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden olan Bibliometrix analiz seçilmiştir. Veriler Web of Science'tan toplanmış ve analiz için R-studio ile Bibliometrix'in 'Biblioshiny' fonksiyonu kullanılmıştır. Analiz için temsili bir belge külliyatı elde etmek amacıyla WoS'ta “özgecilik’’ ve “davranışsal iktisat’’ arama profilinden yararlanılmıştır. Web of Science veri tabanından 2006’dan 30 Haziran 2024’e kadar toplam 162 belge analiz edilmiş; en üretken yazarlar, temel çalışmalar ve kaynaklar ile ana araştırma temaları belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca çalışma, mevcut araştırma eğilimlerini şekillendiren anahtar kelimeleri ve temaları belirlemekte ve ampirik çalışmaların entelektüel yapısını görselleştirmektedir. Elde edilen bulgular, özgecilik ile ilgili çalışmaların 2017 öncesinde genellikle bağış ve özgecilik gibi temalar üzerinde yoğunlaştığını, 2017 sonrasında ise sosyal normlar, sosyal tercihler, kamu malları gibi konuların ön plana çıktığını göstermektedir. Bu analiz, özgeciliğin davranışsal iktisat içindeki evrimini ve araştırma eğilimlerini ortaya koyarak, bu alandaki gelecekteki çalışmalara katkı sunmayı amaçlamaktadır.

The Importance of Altruism in Behavioral Economics: Bibliometric Analysis

Öz

In recent years, the concept of altruism has become an important research topic in behavioral economics. This study examines the studies on altruism within the framework of behavioral economics using the bibliometric analysis method. Quantitative research method was chosen as the method of the study. Data were collected from Web of Science and R-studio and Bibliometrix's 'Biblioshiny' function were used for the analysis. In order to obtain a representative corpus of documents for the analysis, the search profiles "altruism" and "behavioral economics" in WoS were used. A total of 162 documents were analyzed from the Web of Science database from 2006 to June 30, 2024; the most productive authors, basic studies and sources, and main research themes were determined. In addition, the study identifies the keywords and themes that shape current research trends and visualizes the intellectual structure of empirical studies. The findings show that studies on altruism were generally focused on themes such as donations and altruism before 2017, while issues such as social norms, social preferences, and public goods came to the fore after 2017. This analysis aims to contribute to future studies in this field by revealing the evolution and research trends of altruism in behavioral economics.
