EFFECT OF BANKS AND AN APPLICATION ON THE PERFORMANCE OF PUBLIC RELATIONS ACTIVITIES
Öz
Public relation activities represent an important factor for banks which are building
blocks of the financial world. Due to the similarities of services they offer, banks use
public relations to create an image,attract the attention and influence the perception of
their customers. The oglipoly structure of the bank sector,rapid changes and intense
competition in the markets all increase the importance of public relations.
In this study, datas on public relation studies containing corporate reputation and
corporate image activities,corporate identity,house communication,banks’ internal and
external applications for five years ago and the present were collected. It was noticed that
most used tools in banks’public relation activities were;the internet website,e-mail and
sms texting.It was also seen that comparing to five years ago there was an increase in
banks’ public relation activities and performances.
