Öz

Math, centrally located between the disciplines is a branch of science. In this regard, especially in education, love of mathematics, teach of mathematics and vaccination of mathematics consciousness is important. Starting from primary education up to university education, most of the students they are afraid or scared of the classes is mathematics lessons. This created fear in the mathematics lesson rather than be very difficult, especially primary school students in the years in which the effect of positive or negative attitudes seem to play a big role. The effect of mathematics in the formation of consciousness is important to investigate mathematics attitude. For this purpose, the study of which the relationship between attitude towards mathematics courses and the individual characteristics of vocational school students were examined. Data collection phase, the students in order to measure their attitudes toward mathematics, Mathematics Attitude Scale with demographic information form prepared by the researchers was used. Reliability analysis of the survey were conducted and Cronbach Alpha value was found to be 0.71. As a result of the factor analysis which applied to attitude scales of mathematics, four sub-factors were determined. These four factors explain 73.08% of the total variance. The relationship between Individual characteristics of students with mathematics attitude scores of students were investigated and individual characteristics of students did not affect the mathematics attitude was seen. As a result, the relationship between students' mathematics achievement levels and mathematics attitude mean scores were investigated by correlation analysis and significant relationship was not found. Obtained results are interpreted with reason.
