Öz
Math, centrally located between the disciplines is a branch of science. In this regard,
especially in education, love of mathematics, teach of mathematics and vaccination of mathematics
consciousness is important. Starting from primary education up to university education,
most of the students they are afraid or scared of the classes is mathematics lessons. This created fear in the mathematics lesson rather than be very difficult, especially primary school
students in the years in which the effect of positive or negative attitudes seem to play a big
role. The effect of mathematics in the formation of consciousness is important to investigate
mathematics attitude.
For this purpose, the study of which the relationship between attitude towards mathematics
courses and the individual characteristics of vocational school students were examined.
Data collection phase, the students in order to measure their attitudes toward mathematics,
Mathematics Attitude Scale with demographic information form prepared by the researchers
was used. Reliability analysis of the survey were conducted and Cronbach Alpha value was
found to be 0.71.
As a result of the factor analysis which applied to attitude scales of mathematics, four
sub-factors were determined. These four factors explain 73.08% of the total variance. The
relationship between Individual characteristics of students with mathematics attitude scores of
students were investigated and individual characteristics of students did not affect the mathematics
attitude was seen.
As a result, the relationship between students' mathematics achievement levels and
mathematics attitude mean scores were investigated by correlation analysis and significant
relationship was not found. Obtained results are interpreted with reason.

MESLEK YÜKSEKOKULU ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN MATEMATİK TUTUMLARI VE BİREYSEL FARKLILIKLARININ İNCELENMESİ
Öz
Matematik, merkezi konumda bulunan disiplinler arası bir bilim dalıdır. Bu yönüyle, özellikle eğitimde, matematiğin sevdirilmesi, öğretilmesi ve matematik bilincin aşılanması önemlidir. İlköğretimden başlayarak, üniversiteye kadar, öğrencilerin en çok çekindikleri veya korktukları derslerin başında matematik dersi gelmektedir. Bu korkunun oluşmasında, matematik dersinin çok zor olmasından ziyade, öğrencilerde özellikle, ilköğretim yıllarında oluşan olumlu veya olumsuz tutumun etkisi büyük rol oynamaktadır. Matematik bilincin oluşmasında önemli etkiye sahip olan tutumun etkisinin araştırılması önemlidir. Bu amaçla yapılan araştırmada, meslek yüksekokulu öğrencilerinin matematik dersine yönelik tutumları ile bireysel özellikleri arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Verilerin toplanması aşamasında; öğrencilerin matematiğe yönelik tutumlarını ölçmek amacıyla Matematik Tutum Ölçeği ile araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanan demografik bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın güvenirlik analizi yapılmış ve Cronbach Alpha değeri 0,71 olarak bulunmuştur. Matematik tutum ölçeğinde uygulanan faktör analizi sonucunda dört alt faktör belirlenmiştir. Bu dört faktör, toplam varyansın %73,08’ini açıklamaktadır. Öğrencilerin matematik tutum puanları ile bireysel özellikleri arasındaki ilişki araştırılmış ve bireysel özelliklerin matematik tutumu etkilemediği görülmüştür Sonuç olarak, öğrencilerin matematik başarı düzeyi ile matematik tutum puan ortalaması arasındaki ilişki korelasyon analizi ile araştırılmış ve anlamlı bir ilişki bulunamamıştır. Elde edilen bu sonuç, nedenleri ile yorumlanmıştır.
