Süreç odaklı çalışmalar işletme performansı açısından büyük önem taşımaktadır. Bu nedenle üretimlerini rekabet ortamının beklediği yüksek verimlilik ve performans, esnek bir yapı ayrıca düşük maliyet ile gerçekleştirmeyi hedefleyen hazır giyim işletmelerinin süreçler üzerinde titiz yaklaşımlarda bulunmaları gerekmektedir. Bu çalışma, temel kadın ceketi üretimi için etkin süreç aktivitelerinin neler olduğunu ortaya koymak amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Tarama modelli araştırmanın örneklemini, Konya İlinde faaliyet göstermekte olan küçük ölçekli üç hazır giyim işletmesi oluşturmaktadır. Aynı ürünü üretmekte olan üç hazır giyim işletmesinde bayan ceket üretiminde uygulanan farklı dikim süreçleri, süreç aktiviteleri ve süreç sorumlusu boyutlarında analiz edilmiştir. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgurdan yola çıkarak işletmelerin belirlenen göstergeler açısından benzer dağılımlar gösterdiği saptanmış, her üç işletmede de süreçler içerisinde katma değer oluşturmayan faaliyetler tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler doğrultusunda hazır giyim işletmelerine kadın ceket üretimine yönelik bir süreç önerisinde bulunulmuştur.

Process-oriented studies are of great importance for enterprise performance. Therefore, ready-made clothing enterprises that aims to realize their production with high efficiency and performance in flexible structure and with a low cost are to follow touchy approaches to processes.
The aim of this study is to reveal the effective process activities for basic women’s jacket. In the process of the study, different sewing processes, procession (process activities) and employer (process supervisor) dimensions in three ready-made clothing enterprises manufacturing the same product were analyzed the differences in the process and added value creation activities were determined.
The data for the study in which the screening method was used was collected by the researcher via information forms, observation and interviews. The work flow in the three ready-made clothing organizations were classified and examined as follows front preparation, back preparation, arm preparation, collar preparation, liner preparation and montage. The work flow schemas for each process were prepared. In the ready-made clothing organizations coded as A-B and C, jacket production processes were analyzed comparatively with the tables prepared according to process and worker. With this aim in mind, the processes in the procedures illustrated with flow schemas in three organizations are listed in a table. In these tables, each worker was coded with a letter. As a result of the study, the optimum production process for the jacket model in this study was created.
As a result of the study, it was determined that organizations follow similar processes in jacket production. The processes, which were determined not to create added value, need process improvisation efforts. However, manufacturers, which have developed production processes as a result of experience or copying similar organizations, were found to be away from process improvisation understanding. However, ready-made clothing organizations that want to be innovative and dynamic and keep pace with changes are to continuously keep their process under control and manage them.
However, in order to meet fast changing, very various and numerous different models demands of various volumes of lots flexible and efficient production processes are to be applied. To achieve this, an optimum process is to be formed for the basic model in every product group. When model variations are necessary, it is possible to integrate the change to the optimum process by analyzing only the parts different from basic model. Therefore, it will be possible to rapidly realize effective and efficient process for every new model and the flexibility of the process can be achieved.
Such a study will get rid of the burden of making process analysis for every new model and manage challenging process improvisation activities when needed. Even when an improvisation in the process is required, this improvisation will be very rapid as it is only related with the parts to be included in the optimum process.
