Teizme Karşı Natüralizm: Caner Taslaman'ın Tanrı Delilleri Üzerine Felsefi Bir Değerlendirme

Öz

Tanrı’nın var olduğu fikrini rasyonel temellere oturtmak teizmin ana hedeflerinden biri olagelmiştir. Caner Taslaman da bu hedef doğrultusunda klasik felsefi argümanları yorumlayarak teizmin bazı olguları (evrenin doğumu, işlerliği ve yaşamın ortaya çıkmasına elveren hassas ayarlara sahip olması, canlıların tasarımlanmış gibi görünmesi, insan bilincinin varlığı) açıklamak konusunda materyalist-ateizme (veya natüralizme) karşı daha tercih edilir bir pozisyon olduğunu göstermeye çalışır. Ancak Taslaman'ın teizmin üstünlüğünü göstermek üzere kullandığı “en iyi açıklamaya çıkarım” yöntemi aynı zamanda onun zaaflarını da açık etmektedir. Zira Taslaman Tanrı'nın var olduğu varsayımıyla akıl yürütmekte, bu da argümanlarında bir döngüselliğe yol açmaktadır. Ayrıca yöntemi kullanma biçiminden ötürü, teizm ve natüralizm arasında başka görüşlerin de yer alabileceğini göz ardı ettiğinden sahte bir ikilem yaratmaktadır. Özellikle idealizm gibi önemli bir metafizik pozisyonun dışarıda bırakılması, argümanlarının kapsamını daraltmakta ve ikna gücünü zayıflatmaktadır. Bunlara ek olarak, bilimsel açıklaması mümkün olan olguların prensipte açıklanamayacağını varsayarak Tanrı'nın varlığına bağladığından, bilgi eksikliğinden hareketle metafizik bir sonuca ulaşmakta, bu da onu cehalete başvurma safsatasının muhatabı kılmaktadır. Netice itibarıyla düçar olduğu mantıksal problemler ve açıklama gücü ile basitlik gibi rasyonel prensipler bakımından natüralizme kıyasla daha yetersiz kalması, Taslaman’ın teizmin teorik üstünlüğünü gösterme girişimini başarısız kılmaktadır. Bu durum, teizmin felsefi zeminde tatmin edici bir biçimde savunulabilmesi için Taslaman’ın ileri sürdüklerinden daha tutarlı, kapsayıcı ve eleştirel sorgulamaya dirençli argümanlara ihtiyaç duyulduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.
