Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi Öğrencilerinin Web Pedagojik İçerik Bilgileri ile Uzaktan Eğitime Yönelik Tutumlarının İncelenmesi

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı, Spor Bilimleri Fakültesinde okuyan öğrencilerin web pedagojik içerik bilgileri ile uzaktan eğitime yönelik tutumlarının çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Araştırmaya Erciyes Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri Fakültesinde öğrenim gören rastgele yöntemle seçilmiş 355 öğrenci gönüllü olarak katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları olarak; Ağır (2007) tarafından geliştirilen Uzaktan Eğitime Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği, Lee, Tsai ve Chang (2008) tarafından geliştirilmiş ve Horzum (2011) tarafından Türkçe’ye uyarlanmış olan Web Pedagojik İçerik Bilgisi ölçeği ve araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan kişisel bilgi formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen verilerin istatistiksel analizleri SPSS 20.0 paket programı ile yapılmıştır. Adaylara ilişkin kişisel bilgiler, envanter toplam puanları ve faktör puanları frekans (f) ve yüzde (%) değerleri tespit edilerek verilmiştir. Ölçeklerden elde edilen puanların karşılaştırılması için cinsiyet, internet erişim durumu, bilgisayar durumu, bilişim teknolojileri dersi alma durumu, daha önce uzaktan eğitim yaşama durumlarına göre bağımsız t test istatistiği kullanılırken; sınıf, genel ağırlıklı not ortalaması, yaşanılan yer, üniversitenizin uzaktan eğitim imkânlarını nasıl buluyorsunuz karşılaştırmalarında tek yönlü varyans analizi (Lsd) test istatistiği kullanılmıştır. Sonuç olarak; Spor Bilimleri Fakültesi öğrencilerinin cinsiyet değişkenine göre istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılık tespit edilemezken; sınıf, genel ağırlıklı not ortalaması, yaşanılan yer, internet erişim durumu, bilgisayar durumu, bilişim teknolojileri dersi alma durumu, daha önce uzaktan eğitim yaşama durumu, üniversitenizin uzaktan eğitim imkânlarını nasıl buluyorsunuz? değişkenlerine göre anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Aynı zamanda korelasyon ve regresyon sonuçları incelendiğinde web pedagojik içerik bilgisi ile uzaktan eğitimin sınırlılıkları arasında negatif yönlü anlamlı ilişki tespit edilirken, toplam varyansın %14,1’ini açıkladığı görülmüştür. Yeterli düzeyde web içerik bilgisine sahip öğrenciler uzaktan eğitime yönelik daha olumlu düşüncelere sahiptir. Öğrenciler sahip oldukları yeterli düzeydeki web içerik bilgileri sayesinde çevrimiçi derslere odaklanmada daha etkin olabilirler. Bu sayede öğrencilerin akademik anlamda daha başarılı bireyler olabileceği düşünülmektedir.

Investigation of The Attitudes of Sports Sciences Faculty Students towards Distance Education with Web Pedagogic Content Information

Öz

The purpose of this research is to examine the web pedagogical content knowledge of the students studying at the Faculty of Sport Sciences and their attitudes towards distance education in terms of various variables. 355 randomly selected students studying at Erciyes University Faculty of Sports Sciences participated in the study voluntarily. As data collection tools in the research; Attitudes towards Distance Education Scale developed by Ağır (2007), the Web Pedagogical Content Knowledge scale developed by Lee, Tsai, and Chang (2008) and adapted to Turkish by Horzum (2011), and personal information form prepared by the researcher were used. Statistical analysis of the obtained data was done with SPSS 20.0 package program. Personal information about the candidates, total inventory scores, and factor scores are given by determining frequency (f) and percentage (%). To compare the scores obtained from the scales, independent t-test statistics were used according to gender, internet access status, computer status, taking information technology courses, and having experienced distance education before; One-way analysis of variance (Lsd) test statistics were used in comparisons of class, general weighted grade point average, place of residence, and how do you find distance education opportunities at your university. In conclusion; While no statistically significant difference could be determined according to the gender variable of the students of the Faculty of Sport Sciences; class, grade point average, place of residence, internet access status, computer status, taking information technology courses, previous experience in distance education, how do you find the distance education opportunities of your university? A significant difference was determined according to the variables. At the same time, when the correlation and regression results were examined, it was seen that there was a negative significant relationship between web pedagogical content knowledge and the limitations of distance education, and it explained 14.1% of the total variance. Students who have sufficient web content knowledge have more positive thoughts toward distance education. Students can be more effective in focusing on online courses thanks to their sufficient web content knowledge. In this way, it is thought that students can become more successful individuals academically.
