In this study, it was aimed to examine in depth the studies on individuals with special needs during the earthquake process. In this research, which was carried out using document analysis, one of the qualitative research methods, Google Scholar, ERIC, Web of Science, Scopus, ProQuest and Dergi Park databases were searched. As a result of the search, 46 studies that met the criteria were analysed. The studies were analysed according to the categories of year of publication, purpose of the study, disability groups addressed in the studies, participant characteristics, research method, data collection tool, data analysis technique and findings. As a result, the studies analysed within the scope of the research have increased over the years and these studies often focused on emergency interventions. In most of the studies, disability groups were stated as individuals with special needs. In addition, it was observed that physical disability was also a frequently encountered disability group in the studies. In order to reduce the negative effects of natural disasters such as earthquakes on individuals with special needs, strategies that prepare individuals for natural disasters are very important. The examination of emergency interventions for individuals with special needs during the earthquake process in many studies examined supports this idea.
