DEMAND-SIDE PROBLEMS EXPERIENCED BY CLOTHING MANUFACTURERS IN LESS DEVELOPED COUNTRIES

Öz

The object of this paper is to focus on demand-side problems faced by LDCs in the face of the stringent protectionism imposed by developed countries. Determinnnts of worldwide clothing demand are identified and recognition is made of some of the more important factors which have in recent years played their role in determining the pattern of world trade in textiles and clothing.
