In this work. the information sripplied by 67 Texlile mills. 6 Educaliorml and Research Ir~slitulions tocis em- luated. They Jdled in thefrom titled "The Research h@rmation Form about The Conditions in Textile Testing Lclboratories in Turkey. " 11s consequence. 74.24 % of Lhe participant mills have testing laboratories iisdepeiidcnt of the other departments in the mill. Howcver Lhe mills that have laboratories are not capable ofproviding the slandart atmospheric conditions. The laboratories in these mills and the educational rese- arch institulions have important problems wncerniisg the equipment. devices, trained technical slcfl: ntelhocls of tesling and evaluation. It is necessary to replace the old equipment and devices by the new ones. 11 is also necessoq to establish quality conlrol techniques. Other wise. it will be very drflcrtll to increase the-foreign market-share of Turkey or at least to presenle the present share. iJTurlcey can not attain the rising qualily standards of foreign markets.
