Öz

Given the geopolitical position of Turkey, it is a bridge between Asia and Europe. Except for the position, this situation is expected to reflect the economy. Increasing the international competitiveness of Turkey in the international arena and increasing the export revenues with this increase should be the primary objective of the logistics sector. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to identify the logistics situation in the international arena in 2016 and determine what will be done in the direction of international competition. In this study, the dimension of global competition in the field of logistics has been determined with the help of indices for international competition based on the year 2016 in the general frame of Turkey. This dimension is internationally important for our country. The analysis of the situation explained the reasons why Turkey should move forward with logistics and logistics efficiency

ULUSLARARASI REKABETTE TÜRKİYE’NİN LOJİSTİKTEKİ YERİ©

Öz

Türkiye’nin jeopolitik konumuna bakıldığında Asya ve Avrupa arasında bir köprü görevi görmesi itibariyle lojistikteki önemi anlaşılmaktadır. Konumunun önemi dışında bu durumun ekonomiye yansıması beklenen bir durumdur. Uluslararası alanda Türkiye’nin uluslararası rekabet edebilirliğini yükseltmek ve bu yükselmeyle birlikte ihracat gelirlerini arttırmak lojistik sektörünün öncelikli hedefi olmalıdır. Bu hedefi gerçekleştirmek için uluslararası alanda 2016 yılındaki lojistik durumunu görüp uluslararası rekabet doğrultusunda yapılacakları belirlemek gerekir. Bu çalışmada Türkiye’nin genel çerçevede 2016 yılı temel alınarak uluslararası rekabet için endeksler yardımıyla lojistik alanında küresel rekabetin boyutu belirlenmiştir. Bu boyut ülkemiz için uluslararası rekabette önemlidir. Durum analizinin yapılması Türkiye’nin lojistikte ve lojistikteki verimliliğin ekonomiye yansımasında hangi adımlarla daha ileriye taşınması gerektiği nedenleriyle anlatılmıştır
