Yıldız oluşum bölgeleri yıldız evriminin ilk basamaklarını ve bir çok astrofiziksel fenomeni daha iyi anlamamız açısından yegane yerlerdir. Ancak bu bölgelerdeki yoğun gaz ve toz küçük kütleli yıldızların gözlenmesini zorlaştırmaktadır. Sadece ön tayf türünden yıldızlar yüksek ışınım basınından dolayı etrafındaki gazı dağıtmışlar ve kendilerini açığa çıkarmışlardır. Bu çalışmada yıldız oluşum bölgelerinin kinematik ve evrimsel parametrelerinin içinde bulunan çift ve çoklu sistemlerin analizleri ile nasıl belirlendiği kullanılan yöntemler ile anlatılmıştır.
