Les échantillons recueillis sur les différentes roches ignées et métamorphiques du massif de Kazdağ (au Nord du Golfe d'Edremit) ont été soumis aux fins d'analyses géochronologiques, à deux méthodes actuellement classiques: La méthode au Rb-Sr et la méthode au K-A. Les analyses donnent trois groupes d'«âges»: alpins, mésozoique et paléozoique.

ABSTRACT: 

Samples from various igneous and metamorphic rocks of the Kazdağ Massif (at the north of the gulf of Edremit), at the end of geochronological analyses, were subjected to Rb-Sr and K-A methods. The analyses give three groups of age: alpine, mesozoic and paleozoic.

Öz

Radyojenik yaş tayini metodları, radyoaktivitenin dolaylı ve dolaysız etkilerine dayananlar olmak üzere iki grupta sınıflanabilir. Metodların uygulanmasında elde edilen rakkamların anlamları ancak jeolojik verileri temel alan yorumlarla açıklığa kavuşabilir.

Radyoaktivitenin dolaysız etkilerine dayanan Rb-Sr ve K-A metodları Kazdağ masifindeki granodiorit, gnays, az metamorfik kayaçlar ve spilitik metabazaltlara uygulanmış, Alpin, Alt-Mesozoyik ve Paleozoyik yaşlar bulunmuştur.
