Foça - Menemen yöresi volkanitlerinde piroksenlerin yayılımı ve kristalografik değerleri

Öz

Birbirine yakın iki ayrı bölgeden (Menemen ve Foça) seçilmiş volkanik topluluklar arasındaki kökensel farklılıklardan ve ayni bölgedeki volkanitlerin evrimsel değişikliklerinden hareket edilerek, piroksenlerin kristalografik parametre değerleri incelenmiştir. Bu farklı volkanik topluluklardan Menemen bölgesinde yeralan kalkalkalik karakterli kayaçlar kendi aralarında yükselme ve oluşum farklılıkları gösterirler. Foça bölgesindeki birimde ise üst manto kökenli alkalik malzeme yerel olarak arı, kirli (kontamine) ve karışım (hibrid) hallerde ortaya çıkar. Gerek iki bölge arasındaki kökensel farklılıklar, gerekse aynı bölgedeki kayaçların evrimsel değişiklikleri, kayaçların karakteristik örneklerindeki piroksenlerin kristalografisine tümü ile yansır.

Distributions and crystallographical values of the pyroxenes from the volcanic rocks of the Foça and Menemen surroundings, Izmir- Turkey

Öz

The erystallographie parameters of the pyroxenes obtained, from two different volcanic assemblages, lying near to each other in Menemen and Foça, north of İİzmir, have been investigated. The volcanic assamblages have differences in their origin and rock composition. Each of the assamblages display different magmatic evolution . The volcanic rocks around Menemen are of calc-alkaline nature and have been extruded by different mechanisms. The rocks studied in Foça are either orginated from upper mantle or the products of contamination and hybridization of it. Both the genetic differences in different areas and the trends of evolution in each areas have been reflected in the crystallography of pyroxenes, oblained from the representative rock specimens.
