Jordan is one of the prominent countries in the Middle East in the field of education. The University of Jordan, established in 1962, opened its Faculty of Sharia in 1971. Within this faculty, doctoral dissertations that contribute to the world of knowledge have been produced. This study, which aims to provide bibliographic information about doctoral dissertations written in the field of fiqh and usūl, categorizes dissertations thematically, starting from the first one written in 1992 through the end of 2023. These dissertations are intended to inspire researchers in finding new research areas and to prevent redundancy in topics that have already been studied. To achieve these goals, the doctoral dissertations have been categorized according to the main subjects of Islamic law, and subheadings have also been included to facilitate researchers in locating the specific topics they are looking for. Additionally, this study provides statistical data specific to the University of Jordan, offering insights into which topics Jordanian academia emphasizes in the field of Islamic law and which topics are relatively less prioritized.
