Network Society and Knowledge

Abstract

In digital age, knowledge is one of the significant dynamics of the globalization and change. In this paper, the distributed findings in literature concerning with knowledge were associated with research subject through summarizingand synthesizing; and also definition, epistemology, operational differences, structure and types of the knowledge were explored. Additionally, explanations were provided regarding the evolution of the knowledge from past to present and its interpretation on networks. Finally, self­cognition and meta-cognition concepts were discussed within this framework
