AYFER TUNÇ’UN ANNEMİN UYURGEZER GECELERİ ROMANINI FEMİNİST EDEBİYAT ELEŞTİRİSİ YÖNTEMİYLE OKUMA DENEMESİ
Öz
Günümüz Türk edebiyatının bilinen kadın yazarlarından olan Ayfer Tunç, bugüne kadar pek çok eser kaleme almıştır. Eserlerinde kadın karakterler ön planda olmakla birlikte kurgu, eserlerin kadın karakterinin hikâyesi üzerinden şekillenir. Karakterlerinin kimliklerini temsil kabiliyeti içinde bulunduğu toplumda yüksektir. Çalışmada kadının edebî metin içerisindeki temsil biçimleri, toplumsal cinsiyet ilişkileri feminist edebiyat kuramı çerçevesinde değerlendirilmeye çalışılmıştır. İncelenen roman sadece kadın karakterlerin çatışmalarını değil; aynı zamanda toplum içindeki kadının kimliğini yönlendirici, sınırlayıcı ve dönüştürücü etkilerini de görünür kılar. Özellikle üç kuşak üzerinden bir ailenin sırları, hikâyeleri, yaşamları anlatılır. Bu yönüyle eser, feminist eleştirinin temel kavramları olan beden, kimlik, ötekileştirme, sessizlik, direniş ve toplumsal cinsiyet rolleri üzerinden bir okumaya elverişlidir. Romanın aktüel zamanı seksenli yıllardan günümüze kadar uzanır. Bu dönem feminist tartışmaların gündemde olduğu yıllardır ve bu da karakterleri doğrudan etkiler. Üç kuşaktan kadının romanda bir arada bulunması da feminist fikirlere bakış açısının zaman içerisindeki seyrini göstermesi bakımından katkı sunmuştur. Bu durum romanın feminist unsurlarının tespit edilmesini mümkün kılmıştır. Romandaki feminizm söylemi, Feminist Edebiyat Kuramı çerçevesinde incelenmiştir. Günümüz Türk edebiyatında etkin bir kadın yazarın feminizme bakış açısı ve eserindeki feminizm varlığı hem edebiyat için hem de feminizm düşüncesine katkısı anlamında önemlidir. Feminist Edebiyat Kuramı, edebî metni yalnızca estetik bir bakışla değerlendirmez. Eseri toplumsal yapının, ideolojik söylemlerin ve ikili ilişkilerin bir yansıması olarak ele alır. Böylece de romanda kadın karakterler, anlatı yapısı, kullanılan dil ve temsil biçimleri incelenmiştir. Roman, klasik roman incelemesi bakımından değil; feminizm eksenli arka planı açısından değerlendirilmiştir. Bu inceleme ile ilgilenen okuyuculara romanı farklı bir bakışla okuma imkânı sağlamak amaçlanmıştır.

An Attempt To Read Ayfer Tunç's Novel "Annemin Uyurgezer Geceleri" Through The Method Of Feminist Literary Criticism

Ayfer Tunç, one of the well-known female writers of today's Turkish literature, has written many works to date. Although female characters are at the forefront in his works, fiction and his works are shaped by the story of the female character. The ability of their characters to represent their identities is high in the society they live in. In the study, the representation forms of women in literary texts and gender relations were tried to be evaluated within the framework of feminist literary theory. The novel examined is not only the conflicts of female characters; it also makes visible the guiding, limiting and transforming effects of the identity of women in society. Especially through three generations, the secrets, stories and lives of a family are told. In this respect, the work is suitable for a reading through the basic concepts of feminist criticism, such as body, identity, marginalization, silence, resistance and gender roles. The current time of the novel extends from the eighties to the present day. This period is the years when feminist discussions are on the agenda and this directly affects the characters. The presence of three generations of women together in the novel also contributed to showing the course of the perspective on feminist ideas over time. This situation made it possible to identify the feminist elements of the novel. The discourse of feminism in the novel is examined within the framework of Feminist Literary Theory. In today's Turkish literature, the perspective of an active female writer on feminism and the presence of feminism in her work are important both for literature and in terms of her contribution to the thought of feminism. Feminist Literary Theory does not evaluate the literary text only from an aesthetic point of view. He treats the work as a reflection of the social structure, ideological discourses and bilateral relations. Thus, female characters, narrative structure, language used and forms of representation in the novel were examined. The novel is not in terms of classical novel analysis; It has been evaluated in terms of its feminism-oriented background. This review aims to provide interested readers with the opportunity to read the novel from a different perspective.
