Tourism mobility, which emerges as a result of people’s' desire to see and visit places shown in movies, under the influence of the media, is defined as film tourism. As within the impacts of tourism, film tourism has both positive and negative aspects. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between local residents’ community attachment, perceptions of film tourism impacts and satisfaction in film tourism destinations. Research data collected via survey technique from local residents of Muğla, as a film tourism destination were analyzed. As a result of Structural Equation Model analysis, it was determined that community attachment increased the perception of positive impacts of film tourism and reduced the perception of its negative impacts. The results showed that the perceptions of the local residents regarding the positive effects of film tourism had a weak and positive effect on their satisfaction with film tourism, while the local residents’ perception of the negative effects of film tourism negatively affected their satisfaction. However, no significant relationship was found between community attachment and film tourism satisfaction.
