INDUSTRY 6.0 AND MUSEUMS: TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFORMATION AND FUTURE PERSPECTIVES

Öz

This paper examines the potential impacts and applications of the Industry 6.0 concept on the museum field from a theoretical perspective. The research elaborates on the potential of technological advancements, particularly in areas such as human-machine collaboration, autonomous systems, and data analytics, to provide innovative contributions to museum experiences. Building upon the digital transformation brought by Industry 4.0 and the personalization approaches fostered by human-robot collaboration in Industry 5.0, the paper discusses how Industry 6.0 could bring about a paradigm shift in museology through sustainability, autonomy, and advanced decision-making mechanisms.
Methodologically, the paper presents a conceptual framework through an extensive literature review and addresses the potential applications of new technologies in the field of museology. The research aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the opportunities and challenges that technological integration in the museum field can offer to both the industry and society as a whole. In this context, it offers a critical perspective on the significant impacts and applications of technological innovations in museum practice for industry professionals, academics, and policymakers.

ENDÜSTRİ 6.0 VE MÜZELER: TEKNOLOJİK DÖNÜŞÜM VE GELECEK PERSPEKTİFLERİ

Öz

Bu makale, Endüstri 6.0 kavramının müzecilik sektörü üzerindeki potansiyel etkilerini ve uygulamalarını teorik bir çerçeveden incelemektedir. Araştırma, teknolojik ilerlemenin özellikle insan-makine işbirliği, otonom sistemler ve veri analitiği gibi alanlarda müze deneyimlerine yenilikçi katkılar sağlama potansiyelini detaylandırmaktadır. Endüstri 4.0'ın getirdiği dijital dönüşüm ve Endüstri 5.0'ın teşvik ettiği insan-robot işbirliği üzerine kurulu kişiselleştirme yaklaşımlarını temel alarak, Endüstri 6.0'ın sürdürülebilirlik, otonomi ve gelişmiş karar verme mekanizmaları aracılığıyla müzecilikte nasıl bir paradigma değişikliği yaratabileceği tartışılmaktadır.
Metodolojik olarak, makale kapsamlı bir literatür taraması yoluyla kavramsal bir çerçeve sunmaktadır ve yeni teknolojilerin müzecilik alanındaki potansiyel uygulamalarını ele almaktadır.
Araştırma, müzecilik alanındaki teknolojik entegrasyonun sektöre ve genel olarak topluma sunabileceği fırsatlar ve karşılaşılabilecek zorlukları derinlemesine analiz etmeyi amaçlamakta ve bu bağlamda müzecilik pratiğindeki teknolojik yeniliklerin sektör profesyonelleri, akademisyenler ve politika yapıcılar için önemli etkileri ve uygulamaları hakkında kritik bir perspektif ortaya koymaktadır.
