Intervention Approaches Related to Juvenile Offenders

In recent years, there is an important increasing in child delinquency in USA. This situation, brought the idea of taking rigid measures to this problem but the main purpose of these measures are to recupation of the child to the society. This view led to apply different intervention methods related to the treatment of the child in USA. These methods are biological interventions, cognitive-behavioral approaches, multi-systemic therapy.

Amerika Birleşik Devletleri’nde Suçlu Çocuklara Yönelik Müdahale Yaklaşımları

Öz

Son yıllarda ABD’de çocuk suçluluğunda önemli artışlar olmuştur. Bu durum son zamanlarda daha sert önlemlerin alınması düşüncesini beraberinde getirmiş olsa da temelde çocuğun topluma yeniden kazandırılması çerçevesinde çeşitli müdahale yaklaşımlarının uygulanmasını sağlamıştır. Bu çalışma ABD’de çocukların treatmanındaki müdahale yaklaşımlarını ele almıştır. Bu yaklaşımlar; biyolojik müdahaleler, bilişsel davranışsal yaklaşımlar, çok sistemli (multi-systemic) terapi olarak üç başlık altında toplanmıştır.
