Öz

As a social institution where the need for belonging is first met, the family has an important place in the psychological, emotional, social and economic life of the individual. Despite being in different shapes and degrees throughout the developmental process, the sense of belonging to the family continues to maintain its importance in the life of the individual. Family relations are among the determining factors of family belonging. Due to this central position in the life of the individual, it is necessary to examine the family belonging in terms of family-related variables, in order to understand the family belonging. The aim of this study is to examine the family belonging of university students in terms of family structure, family violence history and family relationships. The sample of the study designed in the general screening model was 2755 university students. The data were collected using the personal information form developed by the researchers and the Family Belonging Scale and analyzed with the SPSS Program. In the study, it was observed that the family belonging of the students with nuclear family structure was higher than those with extended family structure and the parents whose parents lived together were higher than divorced. The family belonging of students who have experienced or witnessed domestic violence is lower than others. Family belonging of students whose family has a democratic family structure is higher than other family attitudes; It was found that students who spend quality time with their family, who can express their feelings in communication with their family, and who are understood by their family, have higher family belonging than others. It was concluded that the variables of family structure, family violence history and family relationships examined in the study constitute a significant difference according to the family belonging of university students. It is believed that studying family belonging in terms of other variables related to the family, as well as conducting studies in other sample groups, will contribute to family work.

ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN AİLE AİDİYETİNİN AİLE İLİŞKİLERİ AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Öz

Aidiyet ihtiyacının ilk olarak karşılandığı toplumsal kurum olarak aile, bireyin ruhsal, duygusal, sosyal ve ekonomik hayatında önemli bir yere sahiptir. Gelişimsel süreç boyunca farklı şekillerde ve derecelerde olmasına karşın, aileye karşı hissedilen aidiyet duygusu, bireyin yaşamındaki önemini korumaya devam etmektedir. Aile içi aidiyetin belirleyici unsurları arasında aile ilişkileri gelmektedir. Bireyin hayatındaki bu merkezi konumu nedeniyle aile aidiyetinin aile ilişkileri açısından incelenerek bu değişkenlerle ilişkisinin ortaya çıkarılması, aile aidiyetinin anlaşılması için gereklidir. Bu doğrultuda planlanan bu çalışmanın amacı, üniversite öğrencilerinin aile aidiyetlerinin aile yapısı, aile içi şiddet öyküsü ve aile ilişkilerine değişkenler açısından incelenmesidir. Genel tarama modelinde tasarlanan çalışmanın örneklemini 2755 üniversite öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Veriler, kişisel bilgi formu ve Aile Aidiyeti Ölçeği ile toplanmış, SPSS Programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmada elde edilen bulgularda; çekirdek aile yapısına sahip öğrencilerin aile aidiyetinin geniş aile yapısına sahip olanlardan; ebeveynleri birlikte yaşayan öğrencilerin aile aidiyetinin ebeveynleri boşanmış olanlardan daha yüksek, ailede şiddet gören, şiddeti sıklıkla yaşayan veya tanık olan öğrencilerin aile aidiyetinin diğerlerine göre daha düşük, demokratik aile yapısına sahip öğrencilerin aile aidiyetinin diğer aile tutumlarına göre daha yüksek, ailesiyle kaliteli zaman geçiren, aile içinde en çok babasıyla paylaşım yapan, ailesi ile iletişiminde duygularını ifade edebilen ve ailesi tarafından anlaşılan gençlerin aile aidiyetinin diğerlerine göre daha yüksek olduğu sonuçlarına ulaşılmıştır.
