Öz

Özet Tıbbi ve psikiyatrik sosyal hizmet alanında çalışan ayrıca aile danışmanlığı yapan sosyal hizmet uzmanları ve alanda çalışan terapistleri, intihar dışı kendine zarar verme vakalarında bulunan zorlu bireysel ve ailevi dinamiklere daha eksiksiz bir şekilde hazırlamak için, bu makale ergenlik döneminde kendine zarar verme ile ilgili aile faktörleriyle ilgili literatürü gözden geçirmektedir. Tartışılan konular şunlardır: intihar dışı kendine zarar vermenin etiyolojik katkıda bulunanları, yaygın tedavi biçimleri, bu tedavilerin güçlü ve zayıf yönleri ve bu tedavilerin aile ve kişilerarası hususları daha iyi bir şekilde dahil edecek şekilde nasıl iyileştirilebileceği.
