Aktif araştırma alanları; Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemi (CBS) ve Uzaktan Algılama (UA) tekniklerini kullanarak; yeraltı sularının kirlenmeye karşı hassasiyetinin ve potansiyelinin değerlendirilmesi, yer seçimi,  çeşitli coğrafi unsurlara ait morfometrik özelliklerinin belirlenmesi, arazi kullanımına ait zamansal değişimlerin, yüzey sıcaklığının ve bitki örtüsünün haritalanması ve belirlenmesi konularını içermektedir.

Alperen Erdoğan lisans eğitimini Gümüşhane Üniversitesi Mühendislik FakültesiHarita Mühendisliği bölümünde tamamlamıştır. Aynı yıl Selçuk Üniversitesinde yüksek lisans eğitimine başlamıştır. Yüksek lisansını 2016 yılında tamamlamıştır. Yüksek lisans süresince Hadim Meslek Yüksekokulu ve Teknik Bilimler Meslek Yüksekokulunda misafir öğretim elemanı olarak dersler yürütmüştür. Akademik kariyere biraz ara vererek özel sektörde arazi toplulaştırma özel mühendislik hizmetleri alanlarında çalışmıştır. 2018 yılı itibariyle Yozgat Bozok Üniversitesi Şefaatli Meslek Yüksekokulunda Öğretim Görevlisi oalrak göreve başlamıştır. 2019 yılında Konya Teknik Üniversite Lisansüstü Eğitim Enstitüsünde doktora eğitimine başlamıştır. 2023 yılında Trento Üniversitesi Bilgisayar Mühendisliği bölümünde Erasmus Programına katılmıştır. 2025 yılında doktor öğretim üyesi ünvanını almışve 2026 yılında Yozgat Bozok Üniversitesi Mühendislik Mimarlık Fakültesi Şehir ve Bölge Planlama bölümünde halan çalışmaktadır.

Dr. Halil İbrahim Şenol is an Assistant Professor at Harran University, specializing in Geomatics Engineering and Cartography. With B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees from Yıldız Technical University, his research focuses on GIS and DEM integration, smart cities, remote sensing, earth observation, and map education for children.

Giuseppe Pulighe is a researcher at the Research Center for Agricultural Policies and Bioeconomy, part of the Council for Agricultural Research and Economics (CREA). His work spans several critical areas, including agronomy, bioenergy, land use change, water management, remote sensing, and geographic information systems (GIS). Giuseppe Pulighe has made significant contributions to his field, authoring over 60 publications in reputable journals and presenting his research at numerous conferences. He also regularly serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals.

Dr. Maomao Zhang is an active researcher at the Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China. He was selected as one of the top 2% of scientists globally, according to a joint announcement by Stanford University and Elsevier in 2025. Currently, his main research interests include Land Use and Environmental Planning, Urban Climate, Remote Sensing, Sustainable Development, and Machine Learning Algorithms. So far, he has published about 60 peer-reviewed papers in SCI/SSCI-indexed journals such as Cell reports sustainability, Sustainable Cities and Society, Habitat International, Journal of environmental management, Urban climate, Energy and Buildings, Energy Reports, Ecological Indicators, Environment, Development and Sustainability, Advances in Space Research, Earth Science Informatics, and Journal for Nature Conservation. He has reviewed more than 100 SCI/SSCI articles. He serves as the as anonymous reviewer of more than 60 journals such as Natural Cities, Cell reports sustainability, Sustainable cities and society, Environmental impact assessment review, Cities, Remote sensing, Applied geography, iScience, Building and environment, Physics and chemistry of the earth, Journal of environmental management, Urban climate, Ecological Indicators, etc. He has served as a guest editor for SCI/SSCI journals such as Atmosphere, Land, Applied Sciences, Discover Cities, and Frontiers in Environmental Science.
