Kama Diş Anomalisine Sahip Maksiller Lateral Kesici Dişlerin Direkt Kompozit Veneerlerle Tedavisi : Olgu Sunumu

Öz

Kama lateraller; sıklıkla maksiller kesici dişlerde rastlanan, normalden küçük, sivri şekilli dişlerdir. Bilateral
olarak kama laterallere sahip hasta, estetik beklentilerle kliniğimize başvurdu. Yapılan intraoral ve radyolojik muayenelerin ışığında hastaya tedavi seçenekleri anlatıldı. Hastanında onayı alınarak dişlerin direkt kompozit veneer uygulaması ile tedavisine karar verildi. Diş rengi belirlenerek kullanılacak kompozit rezinler ve renkleri seçildi. Tabakalama yöntemiyle kompozitler dişe yerleştirildi ve tedavi tek seansta
bitirildi. Restorasyonların yüzeyleri bitirme frez ve diskleri, polisaj lastikleri kullanılarak düzenlendi. Bu olgu sunumunun amacı, hastanın estetik görünümünden rahatsız olduğu kama laterallerdeki şekil bozukluklarının direkt kompozit veneerlerle estetik bir şekilde tedavi edilebildiğini anlatmaktadır.

Treatment of Maxillary Lateral Incisors Teeth With Peg-Shaped Tooth Anomalies by Direct Composite Veneers

Öz

Peg-shaped laterals are dental anomalies that are frequently encountered in maxillary teeth and may have smaller than normal, pointed shapes. A patient with bilateral peg-shaped laterals presented to our clinic with aesthetic expectations. Treatment options were explained to the patient in the light of intraoral and radiologic examinations. With the patient’s consent, it was decided to treat the teeth with direct
composite veneer application. Tooth color was determined, composite resins and theirs colors to be used were selected. The composites were applied using a layering technique in a single session. The surfaces of the restorations were finished using finishing burs and discs, polishing rubbers. The aim of this case report is to describe the aesthetic treatment of the deformities of the peg-shaped laterals, which the patient was uncomfortable with the aesthetic appearance, with direct composite veneers.
