Dezavantajlı Çocuklar İçin Spor Faaliyetlerinin Öneminin Eleştirel Teori Bakış Açısıyla Ele Alınması

Öz

Spor, çocukların boş zamanlarında yaptıkları fiziksel aktiviteden öte gelişimlerini fiziksel, psikolojik ve sosyal açıdan etkileyen bir araçtır. Sporun çocukların hayatındaki gelişimsel katkılarının yanında sosyal dışlanmayı engelleyici, antisosyal davranışlardan ve çeşitli ayrımcı tutumlardan uzaklaştırıcı katkılarına da dikkat çekilmelidir. Bu derleme çalışmasında dezavantajlı koşullardaki çocukların yaşamında sporun katkılarının eleştirel teori bakış açısıyla nasıl ifade edilebileceği konu ile ilgili literatür çalışmalarının gözden geçirilmesi ile ele alınmıştır.

THE IMPORTANCE OF SPORTS ACTIVITIES FOR DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN FROM A CRITICAL THEORY PERSPECTIVE

Öz

Sports is an important tool which has physical, psychological, and social effects on child development rather than a kind of physical activities in leisure time. Moreover, it is essential to point out that sports has developmental contributions to the children’s lives as well as contributions which prevent social exclusion, antisocial behaviours stemming from their living conditions and discriminative attitudes. In this review study, how to express the contribution of sports to the lives of children in disadvantaged conditions with a critical theory perspective is discussed by reviewing the relevant literature studies.
