DİSİPLİNLERARASI BİLİM TARİHİ” DERSİ VE GEREKÇESİ

Öz

Ülkemizde uzun yıllar Bilim Tarihi dersleri okutulmuştur. Bu dersler her bilimin kendi oluşumunu inceler. Ancak her bilimin kendi dinamiğiyle ilgili ürettiği verilerin kullanımı Tarih Bilimi ile pek ilişkilendirilmez. Bu sebeple Tarih bilimi daima çorak kalmıştır. Matematik, Fizik, Kimya veya Mühendislik bilimleri; ürettikleri faydalarda Tarih bilimine bir rol biçmez. Oysa ki Tarih bilimi de bu bilimlerden pek farklı veriler taşımaz. Her bilim gibi onun da bir takım kuralları ve formülleri vardır. O da mutlaka bir fayda üretir. Bu yönüyle bakıldığında Tarih bilimi sadece geçmişi değil geleceği de ilgilendirir. Sosyoloji, Antropoloji, Arkeoloji, Zooloji, Edebiyat, İlahiyat, Felsefe, İktisat, Maliye ve Psikoloji ile doğrudan kurduğu ilişkiler yanında, Mimarlık ve Mühendislik kadar Matematik ve diğer Fen bilimleriyle de yakın ilişki içindedir. İşte bu ilişkile “Disiplinler Arası Bilim”, Tarih Biliminin bu disiplinlerle kurduğu ilişkiye de “Disiplinler Arası Bilim Tarihi” denir. Batıda uzun yıllar kullanılan bu yaklaşım, maalesef birkaç deneme dışında ülkemizde pek benimsenmemiştir. Oysa son dönemde ortaya çıkan Tarih bilimiyle ilgili iştahsızlık, yeni dönemde Disiplinler Arası Bilimler ile bütünleştirilmiş bir Tarih bilimine duyulan ihtiyacın şiddetini de ortaya koymaktadır.
