Throughout history, lovers have featured social and individual issues in their poems. At the beginning of these issues is the concept of loyalty. It is very important for human beings to see loyalty from their loved ones. It is an emotional need to see loyalty from their loved ones, especially for lovers whose lives have been difficult and who have to get away from homeland and earn money. For people who are loyal to their loved ones and friends, separation becomes bearable even a little bit. For those who see disloyalty, this is very difficult. Ashik Veysel, a lover whose life has been through difficulties and who has seen disloyalty many times and who is a master lover, has also stated that the feeling of loyalty is very important for people and that the encounter with disloyalty is heavy for people in many poems.
The aim of this study is to examine the poems of Ashik Veysel, who grew up in the tradition of minstrelsy and who was considered among the important lovers both in his period and after his death, with examples of the subject of loyalty. In addition, in the study, Ashik Veysel's life, art and poems will be examined in detail by taking a holistic approach to the subjects he worked on.
