Cultural transfer has turned into an interventionable, manageable character with globalization. In this article, it has been put forward that the knowledge of the tradition does not progress from the older generation to the younger generation by decreasing quantity, the tradition is reinterpreted depending on many variables in each generation, and its acceptance or rejection is not shaped by the expectations of the transmitter. In 10 families selected in Samsun province (as it is observed that the transmission of verbal cultural elements is usually done by women), interviews were made with the mother (1st generation), daughter (2nd generation) and granddaughter (3rd generation), the same questions were asked to each generation and the answers received. tradition transfer has been studied with a comparative method. In addition, social media activities, television programs and series, motion pictures, commercials, twitter, and National Education events were also examined in terms of the use of oral cultural products; Samples of TV series, commercials and motion pictures subject to the study were selected by random sampling method. In this context, although oral cultural products such as anecdotes, proverbs and legends were passed on to the younger generation, their use was not preferred by them; However, although verbal cultural products such as fairy tales and lullabies have not been fully conveyed, they have gained an important place in the life of the young generation with the opportunities of concepts such as media, fashion and technology, which are seen as destructive forces.
