DESIGN AND APPLICATION OF DATA MONITORING SYSTEM WITH FLEXIBLE AUTOMATION SYSTEM

At this work, TCP/IP based data monitoring system with flexible automation system was carried out by using LabVIEW, well-known graphical programming language, and GLC-386R PLC, domestically produced in Turkey. This application, then, was integrated in 'Nursan Wiring Harness' factory. At this study, by establishing a server computer, personal computers, PLCs and sensors on each conveyor line, real time data acquisition system was designed. By means of LabVIEW based server interface, plant production and productivity analysis was accomplished in real time by using the data collected from conveyor line. In addition, all of the plant’s production parameters are saved in real time, and that saved information is shared with the other relevant personals; and it enables us to support promptly any conveyor experiencing difficulty.
