Yoğun Bakım Ünitesinde Çalışanların Yorgunluk Ve Uyku Kalitesi İlişkisi

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışma, yoğun bakım ünitesinde çalışanların yorgunluk ile uyku kalitesi arasındaki ilişkinin araştırılması amacıyla yapıldı.
Materyal-Metod: Çalışmamız Klinik Çalışmalar Etik Kurulu tarafından onaylandı. Kesitsel tipteki araştırmamıza yoğun bakım ünitelerinde çalışan 65 hemşire katıldı. Veriler Yoğun Bakım Ünitelerinde Çalışan Hemşirelerin Tanıtıcı Anket Formu, Pittsburgh Uyku Kalitesi (PUKİ) ve Piper Yorgunluk Ölçeği kullanıldı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde; tanımlayıcı istatistik, Ki-Kare, Korelasyon ve ANOVA analizi yapıldı.
Bulgular: Yoğun Bakım Ünitesi çalışanlarının PUKİ puan ortalaması erkeklerde 13,88±7,87, kadınlarda 17,63±10,71’dir. Piper puanı erkeklerde 5,29±1,99, kadınlarda 5,33±2,33’dür. PİPER ölçeği ile yaş (p=0,011, r2= - 0,255), çalışma şeklinin yaşam kalitesini etkilemesi arasında (p=0,001, r2=0,413) negatif korelasyon, yoğun bakımın kişi için uygun çalışma ortamı olması (p=0,001, r2=0,405) ve çalışılan üniteden memnuniyet arasında (p=0,001, r2=0,407) pozitif korelasyon tespit edildi. PUKİ ve PİPER ölçeği ile daha önce psikolojik sorun yaşama arasında negatif korelasyon (p=0,036, r2=0,217; p=0,027, r2=0,227), PİPER ölçeği ile dalma zamanı (p=0,027, r2=0,233) ve hizmet içi eğitim alınması arasında pozitif korelasyon bulundu (p=0,026, r2=0,225). Daha önce psikolojik sorun yaşayanların yaşamayanlara göre PUKİ puanları (p=0,036) ve PİPER puanları anlamlı olarak yüksek bulundu (p=0,027).
Sonuç: Yoğun bakım hemşirelerinin uyku kalitesinin kötü olduğu ve orta düzeyde yorgunluk yaşadıkları bulundu. Yoğun bakım ünitelerinde çalışan kişilerin vardiya değişimi uyku kalitesi ve yorgunluğunu etkilendiği saptandı.

The Relationshıp Between The Fatigue And Sleep Quality Of The Workers In The Intensive Care Unit

Öz

Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the relationship between fatigue and sleep quality of intensive care unit workers.
Material-Method: Our study was approved by the Ethics Committee of Clinical Studies. Sixty-five nurses working in intensive care units participated in this cross-sectional study. Data The Descriptive Questionnaire of Nurses Working in Intensive Care Units, Pittsburgh Sleep Quality (PSQI) and Piper Fatigue Scale (PFS) were used. In the evaluation of the data; Descriptive statistics, Chi-Square, Correlation and ANOVA analysis were performed.
Results: The average PSQI score of Intensive Care Unit employees is 13.88 ± 7.87 for men and 17.63 ± 10.71 for women. Piper score is 5.29 ± 1.99 for men and 5.33 ± 2.33 for women. Parameters negatively correlated with the PIPER scale; age (p = 0.011, r2 = - 0.255), working style affects quality of life (p = 0.001, r2 = 0.413). Parameters with positive correlation with PIPER scale; the intensive care should have a suitable working environment for he individual (p = 0.001, r2 = 0.405), satisfaction with the unit being worked in (p = 0.001, r2 = 0.407), diving time (p = 0.027, r2 = 0.233), receiving in-service training (p = 0.026, r2 = 0.225). A negative correlation (p = 0.036, r2 = 0.217; p = 0.027, r2 = 0.227) was found between PSQI and PIPER scale and previous psychological problems. PSQI scores (p = 0.036) and PIPER scores of those who had psychological problems before were found to be significantly higher (p = 0.027).
Conclusion: It was found that ICU nurses had poor sleep quality and experienced moderate fatigue. It was determined that shift quality of sleep workers and fatigue were affected by the people working in intensive care units.
