Öz

In this study, the effects of Erythromycin in the
treatment of goats with Agalactia were investigated. 16 goats of 2-4 ages
were used. 12 goats were given 10 mg/kg erythromycin intramuscularly for five
days twice a day, and the rest four goats were kept as the control group.

Treatment with erythromycin yielded a 91.6 % positive
result while only one out of 16 goats treated died, all goats of the control group
died, ali goats of the control group died. In addition, certain haematological and
biochemical parameters have been examined pre-and post treatment of the
infected animals. Along with antibiotic treatment, parenteral fluid in
treatment has also yielded positive results

Agalaksili Keçilerde Klinik,Hematolojik ve Biyokimyasal Parametreler ile Hastalığın Sağaltımında Eritromisin'in Etkisi

Öz

Bu çalışmada agalaksili keçilerin
sağaltımında kullanılan eritromisinin etkisi araştırılmıştır. Denemede 2-4
yaşlı 16 adet kıl keçisi kullanılmıştır. Bu hayvanların 12 tanesine 10 mg/kg
dozunda sabah akşam olmak üzere kasiçi yolla 5 gün süreyle sağaltım uygulanmış,
4 tanesi ise sağaltımları yapılmayarak kontrol grubu olarak ayrılmıştır.
Eritromisin ile sağaltımı yapılan grupta °/o 91.6 başarı elde edilmiştir. Ancak
sağaltımı yapılan hayvanlardan 1 tanesi ve kontrol olarak ayrılan hayvanların
tamamı ölmüştür. Ayrıca enfekte hayvanların sağaltıma başlamadan önce ve
sağaltımdan sonra bazı hematolojik ve biyokimyasal parametreleri incelenmiştir. Antibiyotik sağaltımının yanısıra parenteral sıvı
uygulamasının da sağaltımı olumlu yönde etkilediği bu araştırma ile tespit
edilmiştir
