İdari Personelin İş Yerindeki Enerji ve Kaynak Kullanım Davranışlarını Etkileyen Faktörlerin Belirlenmesi

Öz

Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart Üniversitesi merkez kampüsündeki idari personelin iş yerinde enerji ve kaynak kullanım davranışlarını etkileyen faktörleri belirlemektir. Özellikle enerji maliyetlerini doğrudan karşılamayan personelin tutum ve davranışları incelenmiştir. Yöntem: Araştırma kapsamında 408 idari personel ile yüz yüze anket yapılmış; elde edilen veriler güvenilirlik analizi, faktör analizi ve betimleyici istatistiklerle değerlendirilmiştir. Bulgular: Faktör analizi sonucunda, enerji ve kaynak kullanım davranışları yedi faktörde toplanmıştır: Elektrik Tasarruf Niyeti, Bilinç Düzeyi, Davranışsal Tutum, Enerji Tasarruf Davranışı, Subjektif Normlar, Bireysel Çaba ve Algılanan Davranış Kontrolü. Bulgular, katılımcıların enerji kullanımı konusunda farkındalıklarının artırılabileceğini ortaya koymuştur. Özgünlük: Araştırma, üniversite idari personelinin enerji ve kaynak kullanımı davranışlarını çok boyutlu olarak inceleyen sınırlı sayıda çalışmadan biri olup, elde edilen sonuçlar kurum içi sürdürülebilirlik stratejilerinin geliştirilmesine katkı sağlamaktadır.

Determining the Factors Affecting Administrative Staff’s Energy and Resource Usage Behaviors in the Workplace

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to identify the factors influencing energy and resource use behaviors of administrative staff at the central campus of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, focusing on personnel who do not directly bear energy costs. Methodology: Data were collected through face-to-face surveys with 408 administrative staff members and analyzed using reliability analysis, factor analysis, and descriptive statistics. Findings: Factor analysis grouped energy and resource use behaviors into seven factors: Electricity Saving Intention, Consciousness, Behavioral Attitude, Energy Saving Behavior, Subjective Norms, Individual Effort, and Perceived Behavioral Control. Results indicate that participants’ awareness regarding energy consumption can be enhanced. Originality: This study contributes to the limited body of research examining the energy and resource use behaviors of university administrative staff in a multidimensional manner and provides insights for developing institutional sustainability strategies.
