The main purpose of the research is to determine the effect of the work values of tourist guides on their work engagement. Accordingly, in order to take steps to meet professional expectations, it is important to determine the work values and work engagement levels of tourist guides and to examine their relationships. The survey technique is used within the scope of the research, and the data are obtained from 311 tourist guides. The "Work Values Scale" developed by Elizur (1984) is used to determine the work values of tourist guides. “Work Engagement Scale” developed by Schaufeli and Bakker (2003) is used to determine the level of work engagement. Frequency analysis, explanatory factor analysis, reliability, correlation and regression analysis are applied in the study. As a result of the research, it is found that there is a low level of significant relationship between the work values of the participants and their work engagement, work values have a low effect on work engagement, and work engagement moderately affects work values. It is determined that the most important factor affecting work values is emotional values, and the factor that most affects work engagement is emotional values.
