Individuals exhibit various social media behaviors both inside and outside of school. Today, with the increasing use of social media, it can be said that these behaviors are seen intensely. The aim of the study is to examine the effect of the perceived social support level of Vocational School of Health Services students on out-of-school social media behaviors. The sample of the cross-sectional study consists of 498 students studying at a Vocational School of Health Services. Data are collected through the Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support and the Out-of-School Social Media Behaviors Scale and are processed with correlation and multivariate regression analysis. Perceived social support sub-dimensions account for 4.9% of the total variance in the consumption behaviors of the participants, 3.2% of the total variance for the communication behaviors, 2.1% for the creation behaviors, and finally, 8.5% of the total variance for the sharing behaviors. explains. As a result, it is determined that the perception of social support has significant effect on out-of-school social media behaviors.
