In a democratic system to announce and publicize their policies to the publicand above all to sustain their campaigns during elections bring great financialexpenses to the candidates. There have been some regulations on electionexpenses spent on during elections by the political parties, their candidatesand by third parties on many countries on the grounds that it is against theequality principle in political participation and it has positive effect on theresults of the elections. There have been some regulations on electionexpenses in the Presidential Election Act. In this study, the subject of controlon the expenses of candidates is dealt with

Türk Hukukunda Cumhurbaşkanı Adaylarının Seçim Hesaplarının Denetimi

Öz

Demokratik bir sistemde adayların politikalarını halka duyurabilmeleri ve enönemlisi de seçim dönemlerinde kampanyalarını yürütebilmeleri, mali açıdanbüyük bir külfeti de beraberinde getirmektedir. Seçim dönemlerinde, siyasipartiler, adaylar ve üçüncü kişiler tarafından yapılan harcamaların seçim sonuçları üzerinde önemli bir etkisi olduğu ve bu durumun siyasi katılmada eşitlik ilkesine aykırı olduğu gibi gerekçelerle pek çok ülkede seçim harcamalarıkonusunda bazı düzenlemeler yapılmaktadır. Türkiye’de Cumhurbaşkanı Seçimi Kanunu ile adayların harcamalarının denetimine ilişkin düzenlemeler yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, adayların seçim harcamalarının denetimi konusu incelenmiştir
