In the electronic age we live in, the development of the media has brought about a great change and transformation for human life. Today's world has become an electronic age and many things old and new pass through the doors of this world. In this context, Turkish folklore elements also found a place for itself in this age. Dede Korkut narratives, which are of great importance for Turkish culture and Turkish literature, appear in many different forms in the media in this age. In this article, the importance of the media in the transition from the oral culture environment to the written culture environment and the reflection of Dede Korkut narratives in electronic cultural environments are mentioned. Then, the differences between the plot, characters, place, costume, language and style of the movies titled Dede Korkut Stories, Deli Dumrul, Salur Kazan: Zoraki Kahraman and Bamsı Beyrek, which were shot under the direction of Burak Aksak, were examined and the humor elements added to the films were determined. As a result of this examination, it has been determined that the skeleton of the narratives is preserved and the differences between the narrative and the film are not too many, and that the humor and popular culture elements added to the films are a successful example of appealing to different audiences and keeping the tradition alive.
