Öz

Hastane içi ani kardiyak arrest dünya genelinde yılda 17 milyon ölümün %25'ini oluşturuyor. Kardiyopulmoner resüsitasyon (KPR) ise hayati organların perfüzyonunu sağlamak ve sürdürmek için uygulanan bir müdahale yöntemidir. KPR'nin başarısı müdahale ekibinin bilgi ve becerisi, hızlı müdahaleye başlanması, hastanın yaş ve komorbid hastalıkları gibi faktörlere bağlıdır. Mavi kod ise sağlık kurumlarında tedavi gören hastaların KPR uygulamalarında bilgi ve yetkinliği olan bir ekibin en kısa sürede ve kılavuzlara uygun bir şekilde yapılması için geliştirilmiş bir sistemdir.
