Objective: This study was performed to determine the nurses' advice to increasing employee motivation and improvement of nursing services in Ankara Ulus State Hospital which is described as prolonged process intensive care and palliative care hospital. Material and Methods: This descriptive study was used in-depth interview technique that one of the methods in qualitative research. The sample of the study comprised of 62 nurses who work in Ankara Ulus State Hospital. Data collection form is consisted of two parts. The first part is composed of the questions about the nurses’demografic features, the second part is composed of one open ended question about recommendations of nurses for increasing employee motivation and improvement of nursing services. Data has been evaluated by using persentages and frequency. Results: Nurses who participated in the study have adviced that increase of salary, improvement of working environment and professional reputation, decrease of working hours and review problem-solving attitude of managers. In addition nurses, have offered to recommendations for human resources and training, motivation, appreciation, reward and improving personal benefits, the branching, the physician-nurse collaboration, social activities, and finally evaluated by education. Conclusion: In this study is offered to usefull recommendation for health care managers and desicion makers of health policies to aim of increase health services quality and employee satisfaction in the preperation of actions plans for improving future state.
