ERP SİSTEMLERİNİN KURULUMUNDA PROJE YÖNETİMİ SİSTEMATİK LİTERATÜR TARAMASI

Öz

Bu çalışma, Kurumsal Kaynak Planlama (ERP) sistemlerinin kurulum süreçlerinde proje yönetiminin stratejik önemini sistematik bir şekilde incelemektedir. Literatürde çok sayıda ERP uygulamasına yönelik araştırma bulunmasına rağmen, proje yönetimi perspektifinden yapılan kapsamlı ve analitik çalışmaların sınırlı olduğu görülmektedir. Bu nedenle, çalışma 2000–2025 yılları arasında yayımlanan, hakemli dergilerdeki İngilizce ve Türkçe makaleleri Web of Science, Scopus, ScienceDirect, TR Dizin ve Google Scholar veri tabanlarında “ERP implementation”, “project management in ERP”, “critical success factors ERP” ve “ERP installation” anahtar kelimeleriyle tarayarak ilgili boşluğu doldurmayı amaçlamaktadır. Ayrıca TR Dizin’de ise "ERP uygulaması", "ERP’de proje yönetimi", "ERP için kritik başarı faktörleri" ve "ERP kurulumu" anahtar kelimeleri doğrultusunda yapılan araştırmalar sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, başarılı ERP uygulamaları için kapsam yönetimi, risk analizi, kaynak planlaması, üst yönetim desteği, değişim yönetimi ve kullanıcı eğitimlerinin proje yönetimi süreçlerine entegrasyonunun kritik olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır. Ayrıca planlama, uygulama ve sonrası aşamalarda proje yönetimi becerilerinin sistem başarısına doğrudan katkı sağladığı belirlenmiştir. Vaka analizleri, entegrasyon odaklı bir proje yönetimi yaklaşımının benimsenmesinin, risklerin önceden belirlenmesinin ve paydaşlar arası etkili iletişimin ERP projelerinin zaman ve bütçe sınırları içinde tamamlanmasına olanak tanıdığını göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak, ERP projelerinin başarısı için proje yönetimi süreçlerinin sistematik, koordineli ve stratejik bir bakış açısıyla yürütülmesi gerektiği vurgulanmaktadır.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN ERP SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION: A SYSTEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW

Öz

This study systematically investigates the strategic role of project management in the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Despite extensive research on ERP implementation, comprehensive and analytical studies from a project management perspective remain limited. To address this gap, a systematic review was conducted on peer-reviewed articles published between 2000 and 2025 in both English and Turkish. Relevant studies were retrieved from the Web of Science, Scopus, ScienceDirect, TR Dizin, and Google Scholar databases using the keywords “ERP implementation,” “project management in ERP,” “critical success factors in ERP,” and “ERP installation.” In addition, the findings obtained as a result of the research conducted in TR Dizin with the Turkish keywords "ERP uygulaması", "ERP’de proje yönetimi", "ERP için kritik başarı faktörleri" ve "ERP kurulumu" reveal that the integration of scope management, risk analysis, resource planning, senior management support, change management and user training into project management processes is critical for successful ERP implementations. Furthermore, project management competencies—encompassing the planning, implementation, and post-implementation phases—were found to directly contribute to project performance. Case analyses demonstrate that adopting an integration-oriented project management approach, proactively addressing potential risks, and ensuring effective stakeholder communication enable ERP projects to be delivered within the planned timeframes and budgets. Overall, the study emphasizes that systematic, coordinated, and strategically focused project management processes play a crucial role in the successful implementation of ERP systems.
