Öz
This research aims to examine typographic approaches concerning ‘Flexible (Responsive) Web’, which is the new generation web software approach. The subject of this research does not cover the examination of browsers. Within the scope of this research, no references from any software processes and definitions of any interface or type fonts have been specified; rather, the subject is evaluated from the aspect of design rules. Various factors ranging from the font preferences to the device range; from the physical definitions to the usage habits have been studied within the process. As a result of these researches, a situation assessment and the elements to be taken into account in flexible web designing process have been tried to be conveyed rather than giving a definite judgment

Öz
Bu araştırma, yeni nesil web yazılım yaklaşımı olan ‘Esnek (Responsive) Web’ özelinde tipografi yaklaşımlarını irdelemek
üzere yapılmıştır. Araştırma konusu, tarayıcılardan bağımsız şekilde irdelenmiştir. Arayüz ve yazı karakteri tanımları ile ilgili
herhangi bir yazılım sürecine ait herhangi bir örnek bu araştırma kapsamında belirtilmemiş, daha çok tasarım ilkeleri açısından
konuya yaklaşılmıştır. Bu süreçte, yazı karakteri tercihlerinden cihaz yelpazesine, fiziksel ekran ve cihaz tanımlarından
kullanım alışkanlıklarına, farklı etkenler araştırılmıştır. Bu incelemeler sonrasında kesin bir hükümden ziyade, bir durum değerlendirmesi
ve esnek web tasarım sürecinde nelerin göz ününe alınması gerektiği aktarılmaya çalışılmıştır.
