The main aim of this study is to examine the relationship between "leader-member exchange," "organizational commitment," "transformational leadership," and "transactional leadership" concepts. Within this scope, previous studies on the subject were reviewed, and firstly, the overall positive outcomes of leader-member exchange for both employees and organizations were evaluated, with a particular focus on the concept of organizational commitment. Additionally, the literature on leadership was reviewed, addressing the importance of leadership and the major types of leadership. Drawing from behavioral leadership theories, the relationships between leadership styles, particularly transformational and transactional leadership styles, and organizational commitment were assessed. In this context, the impact and relationship of leader-member exchange on employees' organizational commitment through transactional and transformational leadership styles were conceptually examined in light of the research findings.
