Öz

Listeria monocytogenes, insanlarda ve hayvanlarda hastalığa neden olan en önemli gıda kaynaklı patojenlerden biridir. Listeria monocytogenes’in buzdolabı sıcaklıklarında gelişebilme ve çoğalabilme yeteneği nedeniyle, özellikle tüketime hazır gıdalarda önemli bir sorun oluşturmaktadır. Listeria monocytogenes ile kontamine olmuş gıdalardan kaynaklanan listeriozis vakalarına oldukça sık rastlanmaktadır. Bu derlemede Listeria monocytogenes’in insan sağlığı ve gıdalar açısından önemi vurgulanarak bu konuda yapılan çalışmalar incelenmiştir
