I have graduated from Marmara University in Istanbul, with an MA degree in Private Law., defended my thesis successfully on the Registrability of Color Maks in Turkish and Comparative Law. I am the author of more than 6 articles on energy investment law and arbitration clauses, the recent issues of the intellectual property law, in particular, the Likelihood of Confusion under the Trademark Law of Azerbaijan and The Condition of Non-obviousness in Patent Laws of the US, EU and Azerbaijan, and the Protection of Non-traditional Signs in Azerbaijan. I have also completed both of the distant courses by the University of Penn on copyright, patent and trademark law. I have also completed another IP course by the World Intellectual Property Organization, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the Indian Institute of Management on Intellectual Property Management.
I worked as an Academic Coordinator for the ELSA Legal Research Group on Renewable Energy. I am the Internet Society Youth Ambassador 2019, and at the moment, working as a Regional Engagement Director (Eastern Europe) for Internet Society Youth Special Interest Group (Youth Observatory).
Currently, I am an LLM student and MEXT Scholar at Kyushu University in Japan, majoring in International Economic and Business Law Law. My research interests include intellectual property rights and arbitration.
