History
Project Inception: September 2013
Hosting Operations Commencement: January 2014
Originally launched using the Open Journal Systems (OJS), DergiPark experienced rapid growth in both the number of journals and registered users. To address the scaling limitations of OJS, TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM developed and deployed a proprietary, domestic journal management system called ULAKBİM Journal Systems (UDS) in 2017. UDS is designed to operate efficiently regardless of volume increases and undergoes continuous development to meet emerging academic requirements.
2013 – 2016: Open Journal Systems (OJS)
2017: OJS + ULAKBİM Journal Systems (UDS)
2018 – Present: ULAKBİM Journal Systems (UDS)
