Bio

İlker BAHAR received his B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Dokuz Eylül University, İzmir. He did his M.Sc. in Automotive Department but not finished. He is planning to earn his M.Sc. again or Ph.D. (direct) in the future.

He is enthusiastic and goal-oriented person, with background in Mechanical Engineering, focused on Computational Simulation and Numerical Methods. He pursues a strong analytical thinking and a problem-solving mindset, applying it to my responsibilities on a daily basis. Ultimately his long-term career aspiration is to inspire others not only with his technical knowledge, but also with his personal attitude.

His works interests lineer, non-lineer, implicit, explicit or modal analyses of systems; in addition optimization like topology, topography, size and shape. He is also in challenge with FEA. He is related with using SFE Concept in order to create optimizaton model at early development phase. He has deep knowledge about Hyperworks product for pre & post processing. He uses Abaqus for doing lineer & non-lineer, implicit & explicit, buckling, thermal analyses as solver and has basic knowledge about Abaqus CAE&Viewer. He uses MSC Nastran for NVH (normal modes to understand behaviour of system) and fatigue calculations (lineer, normal modes and modal transient) by using loads that on generated from virtual roads. He uses Optistruct for doing optimizaton such as topology, topography, size and shape.

He is capable of programing in several scripting languages focused on Engineering problems to achieve better reliability and robustness of procedures. More efficient workflows are not the only thing that he looks for, since he also tries to empathize with the customers' needs and values to produce solutions that have a meaningful and positive impact on their work. He writes macros-scripts in Tcl/Tk language for Hyperoworks pre&post processings, in Python language for calculations of numerical results by using Abaqus CAE or Viewer without GUI. He also uses Python & Linux Shell (*.sh) for writing script to Compute Manager (HPC). These scripts are used for PBS ordered an other operations such as result calculations, user sizes calculations, job summiting with parameters etc. These scripting backround come from Visual Basic.

He also has double-citizen (Bulgaria-Turkey).
