Jaronie Mohd Jani is an academician and researcher at Universiti Kuala Lumpur Institute of Product Design and Manufacturing (UniKL IPROM). Prior joining UniKL IPROM, he has vast industrial experience in research and development (R&D) domain, mainly as a mechanical designer and automotive engineer. He holds bachelor, master, and Ph.D. in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, and is a registered professional European, German and Malaysian engineer with FEANI, VDI and BEM respectively. He is also an active reviewer for several journals and proceedings such as Elsevier, IEEE and ASME. His research interest is in the field of smart materials, design, manufacturing and product development.
