Dr. Manik H Kalubarme • Manik H Kalubarme is a post graduate in Agriculture from G B Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Dist. Nainital (UP), India and also a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDIM) from IGNOU. • Ph.D. in Environmental sciences from Uttarakhand Technical University (UTU), Dehradun. • Joined Space Applications Centre, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Dept. of Space, Ahmedabad during 1976 and worked on various projects related to Remote Sensing Applications for Agriculture, Horticulture, Water Resources, Land Use Planning, Disaster Management, Environment, etc. for more than 34 years. • More than 60 publications in the National and International journals to his credit including a chapter in the Book. • Received many awards including a Team Excellence Award from ISRO in appreciation of contribution to the Indian space Programme for successfully implementing Remote Sensing Applications for Crop Acreage and Production Estimation Project. • Currently working as Project Director in Bhaskaracharya Institute for Space Applications and Geo-informatics (BISAG), Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of Gujarat since July-2010 till-date. • Ph D Co-Guide for Department of Climate Change Impacts Management, Gujarat University, Ahmedabad Gujarat University • Since July-2010, more than 100 dissertations have been submitted by students of various Universities for their project under his guidance at BISAG. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ (Manik H Kalubarme) Mobile No. 9429354980 Email-id: mhkalubarme@gmail.com
